March 29

I have missed several days in posting and to those of you that are following me I am terribly sorry. I have been caught up in helping others with some tasks they needed as well as getting caught up in a couple facebook games and homework and before I knew it the hours in the day were gone. And I was so proud only a couple weeks ago that I had posted everyday since starting, even if some days were not much of a post, they were at least something.

I think I am going to try a bit of a different format from now on. I will still post my photo of the day and say what the prompt was, but I will only say more about it if it is not self explanatory. I will keep doing my pic of me over in the gallery because I think that will be cool at the end of the year to see the different pics throughout the year. I will post the bible verse of the day but I will not comment on it unless I really feel it needs explaining.

Today’s photo is float.

I am still thinking about word of the day. Many of you would not be following or have seen this page if hadn’t been for word of the day so I might keep doing it for awhile. But when the site feels more like an obligation than a fun outlet then it is time for a change.

Today’s word of the day is territory. And this is why I am thinking about not doing word of the day. I haven’t a clue what to write about territory. Just not a word I would use in my everyday life. How about you?

I know I have talked about the womensbiblestudy.com that I have been following, but  yesterday I saw an incredible story on there. It was the story of Kristen Jan Anderson and her story of survival even when she was ready to end it all. If you get a chance I encourage you to listen to it or read her book. It was/is amazing.

Now that I have caught you up…for the most part I am going to get out of here for tonight, and hopefully be back tomorrow.

March 26 – Make up Post

Honestly this is a blank pic. Why? Because today’s pic prompt is aroma…I mean really who makes these things up. I get you want to strecth the imagination and you want people to be creative but come on I work 40+ hours a week I am on the road at leas 10+ hours a week and I go to school I do not have time to get that creative. So instead of aroma you get nada. Sorry.

I did not realize until a few weeks ago that Jesus was with God when the whole world was created. At least that is the way it was described during a Bible study. Today’s scripture says the same thing. I have trouble understanding God to be three different things, but it was a bit easier to understand after I heard it explained that an egg had many parts but all the parts were the egg. There is the shell, the white, and the yolk just as God is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. So that helps but I still struggle with it all.

Today’s photo prompt was something that starts with N. I chose Nola, she is our new pup in case you don’t remember. She is quite the character. Thus far her favorite toys are a twin sheet still in the packaging and a bowl she likes to toss around. She is becoming less scared of everything around here, and has even been in the kitchen off and on the past couple days. She and Zane are finally getting along, almost as well as the rest of the dogs get along with him. 😀

Today’s word of the day is ordinary. To day was very ordinary. It was my last vacation day. We didnt do anything exciting. The hubs fix my sink drain so when you use the garbage disposal it doesn’t link anymore. Other than that we did nothing today. The kids will be by tomorrow to get their stuff and move to their new apartment. They are excited, and I am excited for them. I hope everything works out great for them, they really deserve for it too. It was really nice out today, but tomorrow they are calling for storms. Hoping the kids can get everything moved before it storms on em.

The Psalms are so full of joy and uplifting praise. Today’s scripture is as well. Talking about how everyone that turns to the Lord shall rejoice and sing not for a moment but forever. That those who love the Lord shall be protected by Him because He will surround them in a shield of love. Doesn’t that make for a beautiful picture in your mind? I know it does mine.

Photo prompt today is anything, so I chose to use my two boy dogs, Bubba and Zane. They were stacked on each other on the couch. Zane loves to sleep on the other dogs. I always say you can’t have just one cause Boxers are like potato chips. And Zane makes them like Pringles cause he makes them stackable. 🙂

Today’s word of the day is symptom. I think last week I had all the symptoms of Spring fever, now that it is Spring break and I have been off week I think the symptoms have subsided but I am only off for three more days and I don’t yet want to go back to work. LOL.

I have had three of my grand babies visit this week. That made me very happy. My youngest had to see his doctor about his hernia, and his sister stayed with me during that. His mom and dad stayed two night down here. One of my daughters came by yesterday with her little boy and then we went to Walmart for a bit. On top of that I have fixed a water leak, fixed the tub drain so it drains properly, and purchased the material to fix my kitchen drain. It has been an overall good week. I wish I had more of them, or better yet, I wish I could just be a stay at home wife. I hope ya all have had a good week too.
